Reflecting on my writing

For our writing we have been writing Narratives. We have been learning to add a great hook in or opening line to our writing and to start our sentences in different ways.

This week we also had to have a smile and alliteration in our writing. This slide shows my hook in, sentence beginnings, simile and alliteration.

We are using our Kaiwhakarite/Self Manager learning asset by reflecting on our learning.

THE TRIATHLON

Yesterday I went to the Triathlon, I was the runner in my team.  The people in my team were Ashton and Brodie; Ashton was the swimmer and Brodie was the biker.

I had to run 800 METERS WOW!!!!!!?!?!?!?>?!?>!?!

My friend Brodie thought that I would stop running halfway through but no, he was wrong, I DIDN'T STOP. 

We came in last place because my friend Brodie slow at biking.

I felt a bit sad by who cares?

I went home after the race my foot was super sore and it's still sore,

My Korowai

A couple of weeks ago I made a Korowai in Mrs. Griffin's class, which is the art room.

It was fun, we got hearts if we were good and worked together and we did all of that!

We had the most hearts in our team, so we won.  We won some chocolate and I was the best on my team

so I got extra chocolate.

Amistice Day

Armistice day is when a truce is called during the fight in world war 2 or 1, it happend on the 11 November 1918. we pretended we were soldiers in the world war 2,at the 11th time the 11th day an the 11th month, on wednesday our class tawirimatea where celibrating armisticeday. when were doing it i was soldier with some other of my friends. it kinda like assembly but we were the teachers, but we acctualy werent.
